Hi All,

So I've been through the forums and found some answers, but I also double back here.
I still have me gen 1 (baby) which needs some loving, but I got dragged in buying some wheel and tires (265/70/17) ($400) oh yeah I have no lift.
These came with gen 2 wheels. Here's the question: Is it any benefit to go through all the hassle to buy an adapter ($200) to match the wheels and get a lift ($?) ? or do I just keep my 265/70/16's and be a normy. PS have my cars for 10+ years

Are you 4wd? If so, you need to not only get adapter spacers, but you have to remove the front hubs and install Pathfinder drive slugs on the front axle since the wheels won't fit over the hubs.

I'd say it's not worth it.

Well, I dont really like adapters, and that is a whole lotta work for minimal benefit really. The adapters will also push the wheels out so I think your fitment will look odd.

Also, like Prime mentioned, the first and second gen have different hub sizes.

I see minimal gain, honestly.
