12v from the battery and a controller with fuses. I can control that setup in 4 wires.

i would go floods as its a wider beam like fog lights normally are, but go with the color you would like to see on the receiving end, as i HATE amber lights that are brighter than turn signals, id go white, spots are going to be more directional like driving lights. I feel like white i better but thats a personal pref..

I already have wiring/switch/relay set up- am I correct in thinking I would not be able to use my existing setup because of the harness on these?

as they come with plug and play harness and switch, you'd probably have to rewire yes. But these are going to draw sooo much less power than standard lights would. It would be worth it.

You could still use your existing setup. If you thought you couldn't because of the 2 pin connector (or whatever its called) you have two options that I can think of.
First you could cut that end off and just wire it in like any other light (I did that with my first led bar) or if what you're buying comes with a wiring kit, you can cut off the 2 pin connector from the harness(leave a bit of wire) and just attach that to your existing wires

My response is based upon idk what he has, and wasnt sure if the relays involved would be vary upon the product,
also dont have mine yet so not 100% sure what the kit looks like just going off of the info on the rigid website

Yeah I was kind of wondering about that too but if I understand correctly, you can draw any amperage up to/close to the max for the relay? I went overkill with a 40 amp relay so even my 2 55w lights draw a lot less than the relay is rated for.

For those that have ordered a pair of dually as a kit, does the wiring harness have 2 separate plugs while attached to the main harness? Or is it two separate harnesses for each dually?

It's a single harness to control both lights. The harness has one lighted switch and one relay that feeds two DIN double pin connectors. I'll take some pics of the different Rigid harness this evening.

All of their lights have short 2 conductor cables with two pin Deutsch connectors:

What's the length of those dually wires before the relays?

Yeah mine was fine for my 20" but I had to splice and add a foot for the battery connections but that was it. Easy job. Just pick up a roll of wiring and connectors before you start.

^Ahahaha nice. Gonna order mine tonight. Planning on putting the duallys in the "fog"-ish area on my (modified) bumper, wooo! UGh, electrical projects and I do not get along. Should be fun. Contemplating getting the "Zombie" rocker switch from OTTATTW for my dash hahaha!

Well, I just completed the order for my lights. If I run into any snaggles installing once I get them, I shall certainly let you know. Thanks for the info! :)

best spend that change here sir! When you will save rather then spend it frivolously on penny candy, or food and water for your family! LOL
