as some of you may know I'm trying to replace my vg33e motor. What a night mare. She is all ready to come out other that the trans to motor bolts and the flex plate to torque converter. I thought this is the easy part, all mech. just bolts. I have removed the started and the additional mounting bracket that holds the starter. I was expecting to get to the flex plate to converter bolts thru the starter hole. I can't the shim plate is still in the way.....Help!!! What am I missing? How do I get to those 4 small bolts, is there a hole or something?

I have figured it out, there is a dust shield that has 4 bolts that I have to remove from the bottom
