Weather does look amazing this weekend.

Flag Pole Knob as I understand it has really easy spots where lesser stock vehicles would be fine, and they have difficult areas, where more capable vehicles with armor and mods are necessary. Where does Union Springs Rd fall on that scale?

More difficult. But we took a bone stock Suburban through there a few weeks ago.

I'll hold off until I get some more experience. I don't want to hold anybody up.

I think Sean and I are gonna run the bottom of Big Levels instead. We're gonna try to get there early, get in and out before traffic picks up.

How difficult is Big Levels? The only east coast offroading I've done so far is Peter's Mill Run. I'd love to do more though. Any previous offroading was in the Sonoran desert around Tucson, so it was literally just dirt and sand with an occasional creekbed. This rocky stuff here is new to me and I don't want to tear anything up. My X is my daily driver.

It's about like PMR. We're gonna meet at the trail head outside Stuart's Draft about 8 in the morning.

Cool! Yeah, I'll let you know.

We only met one group going the opposite way. It was a great day out there.

We got started on the trail around 8:30am I think. We wanted to get there and through before the crowds showed up.
