Well as it says did my first mods today. I painted my wheels and repainted my plastics black. I know calling these mods is a stretch but it looks some much better. 20200524_133445.jpg 20200524_133445.jpg

Hey, what kind of paint did you use and what kind of prep? Like just a light sanding needed?

Awesome! You will become addicted! My very first mods were painting the plastic too and it is relatively cheap and easy (although somewhat time consuming).

I used Rustoleum bed liner in a rattle can. The gritty texture is a little more forgiving for if you don't have a super even spray. Wash them, wipe them, let them dry. Light sanding and wipe up any dust. Spray 2-3 coats and let dry before reinstalling.

Just like Rob said washed, dried and sprayed. I didnt sand anything. I used brake caliper paint because I did the wheels too and figured it would hold up a little better on them

Replaced the deck today with a Boss 660. Its decent but will be much better when I replace the blown speakers.
