Factory Pro-4X backup camera relocation?

My new Pro-4X has a neat-o backup camera installed stock from the factory.
However, I put on my Gobi rack ladder and rear tire bumper carrier and they block half the view. I want to relocate it but not sure what the hole and mounting is behind the camera shroud. The dealer doesn't even know because they haven't had to work on them yet. I might have a body shop take a look.
Anyone deal with this, yet?

You would be #1.. I would think its a don't mess with item.. Or maybe buy a new camera that mounts to the license plate and wire it in..

Yeah, I was thinking the same. Since it is already wired I could add a camera and reroute the wiring. I still might have a body shop look at it. I just don't want holes in the hatch.

You could make it work...how are you coming along on getting those bolts to the stealership?

I dropped them off yesterday so I should have it back in the next day or so. I took a quick peek and it looks perfect other than dirt.

And you can stop them in the most fun manner!

If the dealership can't tell you, I say pop the hatch lining.

Yeah, I plan on it. I'm wondering if I can even pull the camera to move it and leave the housing alone. I will have to plug a hole I'm sure.

I 2nd pulling the hatch liner on the inside, I bet its easy to remove, the hard part will be filling the existing hole and making a new hole that matches. Hopefully its just a small round hole for the cable to pass through.

This is what I see. I can live with it but I would rather have full visibility.

From the looks of this. It seems like you either need to increase your rim size by a good 10-14" or decrease your tire size by 8-10". I think this would be the best and simplistic solution to the problem.

Maybe on my bumper. Maybe just move it over a few inches to get a view through the ladder rungs.
Maybe leave it but use the wiring to mount an aftermarket camera on the bumper.

I think this is a good start, it is probably just bolted back there, remove it place it dome where optimal and patch the hole, that's probably going to be the most expensive part, I knew this was going to be an issue eventually for someone.

This, in my mind, is the most preferred solution. I know a good body shop that I will consult soon.
