Exhaust question ?

Having just bought a 2010 off road Xterra I’m grateful for info I’m gleaming off this site.
I am changing the radiator this week for peace of mind. The previous owner just had the complete exhaust system done over a few months ago. On the highway it sounds like my old Harley. Do the Xterras have an inherently above normal exhaust rumble ?
Before I take it to a shop and look like a complete tool. I do enough of that already, don’t need to add to the list.

Mine has the factory exhaust intact. Aside from the wind and road noise at freeway speeds, the exhaust seems rather quiet. It sounds alright at startup, but like all OEM exhaust, it sounds neutered. The VQ40 is a powerful enough engine, and should sound like it IMHO. I’ll be adding a Catback exhaust at some point. I love the rumble of a magnaflow system.
