If anyone wants to crash in my cabin on the floor (AC and at Twin Groves), please let me know. I booked our cabin like 2 months ago, and most of them were full when I booked. We will pretty much have floor space only sleeping arrangements in our cabin though. PM me if you're interested.

I asked the powers that be over there to help you.

Have that new screen name, etc....all set.

- Thanks!

BTW - If you are like Tom & I and the camping thing has gotten a bit weary, and you can't get a cabin, there's nearby hotels that cater to the off road crowd.

The Comfort in in Pine Grove is pretty much the MOST off road friendly, and the lot is loaded with jeeps and toys and mogs, etc, no one complains when people are using air tools on last minute repairs at 1 am, etc...and its mere minutes from the park.

I tend to book at that Comfort Inn for that reason. Its cool to wake up and see 15 modded X's parked next to you....while you enjoy your free breakfast....after having a nice hot shower in your own private bathroom, etc....instead of the march with a bag of toiletries to/from the camp bathrooms, etc.

I'm looking at maybe attending, just so much going on and if the girlfriend has time off for a job she doesn't have yet...it's complicated. Anyway, I won't know for a while, but the campground where everyone sets up camp is already filling up? For those that book last minute, were do you guys stay? Do you guys try to stick together?

BTW, I have 2 cabins booked for this event. I was expecting my parents to attend as well (visit the area and maybe do the Saturday night dinner), but it looks like they are not going to be able to make it...SO, I'd rather keep the cabins and just have someone else take up space in them. I'll know more by next month, but either way, I have a place for folks to crash, even if they do go...just contribute a little to the cost of the cabin.

Man I'd really like to make this, would wrap up my gamut of X events for the new build. Lets see...lake weekend planned for the 9th-12th. That gives me 3 days to get out there...totally doable right? Now to convince the wife...anyone want to have their s/o (significant other) call and convince her haha.

3 days, no problemo.

Its only ~ 2,000 miles or so, that's less than 700 miles/day....some people cover twice that in a day.

:D

As far as convincing the wife....ROAD TRIP!!!!!!! So, I'm going on a road trip! Come with me so I'm not alone every night.
