Hey All,

Oh hai, look, Obi is still around sometimes, yay . . .

Alright, finally got around to trimming my AWESOME TAG bumper (tons of sarcasm there) and can swap out the headlights now. I was looking at RockAuto - prices don't seem too bad. I know a lot of members are running those fancy Halo lenses and some have color changing ones that look awesome. I like them. I want them. I can't afford them right now. But I do need new headlight assemblies on both sides to pass inspection.

So what is the deal with these -

Are they all right? Or like, do I need to worry about stuff and should just get stock ones for now (which are the same price damn near).

New website, who dis?

Don't do that. If you want better headlights do a retrofit.

I am still trying to figure it out, lol.
I just need cheap replacements for now to be honest. These should hold me off till I can ask you how to do the whole retrofit thing.

I am not a fancy man, we know this.

What are the brightest lights to get installed in the gen 2 factory housings?? LED??

Lumen output really depends on the bulb, not all LED's are the same quality and most vendors exaggerate the number. What's the issue with the inspection, are they just too cloudy? If that's it just buy the 3M heavy duty headlight restore kit (requires a drill).

I stayed with halogen on mine but upgraded to 80/100 watt bulbs and built a relay harness to power them. All in cost about what those ebay headlights are that you linked to, I've heard complaints before though about the projector housings in those not being any good.
