1995 Mapex 22" Kick 12" 13" 16" Toms
14" Birdseye maple snare - 12" Birdseye maple snare
Zildjian Custom A crash cymbal's 10" Splash, 14" Crash, 17" crash, 20 Crash
Zildjian A 20" China
Zildjian 13" Fast beat hi-hats
Zildjian 20" Hand hammered ride

I have owed many kits but this one is the one that seemed to stick with me.. Its a avg kit.. I didnt want to spend a ton of money on a kit I knew would be beat up traveling around in a Van ;)

Started playing drums in 1988 in the school band.. Became bored with that and wanted to play rock n roll.. After a few year of playing the kit I moved out front to the guitar...
I needed to be closer to the chicks ;)

Yep but I never owned my own kit, started in the school band, gave up on that played in a little punk band for a month or 2 until they decided they were never going anywhere just doing covers. Then pretty much quit playin around 01.
Was pretty stoked when rockband came out cause I knew I could rock out by my self and it was to cost me an arm and a leg on my nonexistent budget in college.
Haven't truly played a real drum since probably 04. I miss it here and there nothing to exciting

So I played drums for about 16 years then quit for about 10 years. Now I've picked them up again because my wife told our new pastor that I played back in college. Well I started playing in church and now that has lead to me playing with the worship leader outside of church at a community theater.

So to keep the story short I needed new drums.

This is the last kit I had, I only had it for a year and didn't even wear through more than one set of heads. I never played out with it just used to beat on it and play along with Rush on the head phones.

A little fun with the "fish eye" setting there at the end. :)

Here's my kit that I play right now. (I built in the neon and sensors that light up when you hit them. It looks cool on stage. You can't much more 80's then that, lol.)

LoL. As a musician I liked to be in control of my music.. Only way to do that is learn each instrument..

I started out as a drummer.. I really enjoy the drums..
And really my talents suffered because I wanted to be a guitarist.. I'm avg on both..
I ran a guitar shop here for 3 years.. So being around guitars all day didn't help that either..

I'm the type of guy that gets in to something.. I really get into it

here's my e-kit.... I use it for tying it up to rockband and/or the computer for attempting to record some drum beats....

I have had alot of drum kits in my day!! I used to be in a band called chasing canadia! We played out alot opening up for bands like New Found Glory and such, playing at many festivals but it just didn't pay the bills! So now I just drink on weekends and rig up lighted blazers for drinking adult beverages !!
