Dang, Dave - you're hauling with the build process! Truck's looking awesome.

Funny you and Amish have those seat covers - I've got 'em too, in the black. They're worth it just for the crap ton of molle bags that come with them! I had to wrangle them quite a bit to get a reasonable fit on the '08, but they'll do the trick.

I love it. The recovery points on mine are on the lower outer sections. I think I like them better where Dave's are.

Dave,
That is an awesome bumper sir. I think you should polish it out to a shine and then mask off parts of it and paint some parts and leave others unpainted. Clear coat the exposed steel so it doesn't rust.

Recovery points that close to the winch port, if your pulling at an extreme angle left or right, any chance they could get in the way?

They might get in the way.. I see your point... But hard to say till I drop the winch in and see :)

Hey Dave I hope you don't mind. but i had to save the 31'st pic takin on the grass as my desktop back ground as a reference to my plans after I go back to work. Very nice rig.If you prefer I not keep the photo just say so and I will promptly remove it.

I had to do a quick paint job on the bumper till I can pull it off and do it right.. I didnt want to be cleaning up rust all day..
Added a few stickers today as well..

For those of you wondering where the snorkel is... Working 6 days a week is not letting me find the time I need for that the winch, front shocks and all the other little mods I need to do.. Xmas break is coming up and Ill finish it all up

Looking good. I like the red tubes. I still have the quick rattle can job on mine. When I do it right I'll paint the grill black and have been thinking about leaving the center bar in the grill silver and painting the two tubes in the bumper to match.

Amazing as usual Dave. Looks great. When you painted with it on the truck, how did you mask off?

I used newspaper and painters tape.. I covered the grill.. and pulled it in my shop :D
Its by no means a perfect paint job lol ... But I needed to get some paint on in.. welds were starting to rust..

I had it all primed and thought WTH..

So I sanded it off the rust and painted

Nice, I'm still on the fence on whether I want to paint mine black. I've got all winter to decide because I don't have good enough ventilation in my garage to do it inside. But good to know it's not too difficult to do with it on the truck. I am pretty sure I've got a bolt on my bumper that shouldn't be taken back off hehe well or won't go back on after it comes off.

No.. No red on the snorkel. You have to be careful with the red on a black truck.. A touch is fine..
