Door disconnect solution

So we all know the taboo topic of removable doors, but browsing the interwebs i came across something magical.

You would thing working at a software company surrouneded by computers, being best friends with our IT guy, are helping him to re wire the conference room, i would have thought of it, but i cant take this cred.

Now we need like 30 wires for our doors... How bout a serial connector?!

With shrink wrap around the back end, and some time patience, you can soldier up two connectors like this and be perfect!

Good luck getting two of those to fit inside a closed door jam. Also not a water resistant connection and if you short it out the alarm will play hell with you.
