Do I need a new switch

Hello,

I own a 2005 Nissan Xterra and just installed some Diode Dynamics LED SS3 fog lights. However, I did not know that this model of the Xterra doesn't have a switch for fog lights. Do I need to buy a new one that does have that or does the stock one work? any info would really help! Thanks in advance!

If your truck didn't come with factory fog lights, do not dispair.

There are two ways.

You have all the wiring for them. You just need to replace your turn signal stalk with one that has the fog light switch on it. Plug and play.

Alternatively you could use an aftermarket switch and wiring directly to the lights.
