Yeah I read about this a month or so ago... pretty amazing stuff...

Technology is growing so exponentially it's hard to keep up...

Wait till they start printing suppressors.... printing a gun is one thing... printing a silencer is another.

We actually have a 3D printer here at the shop, but haven't had much time to play with it yet.

I don't think the media is quite there yet though, to support the amount of PSI it would have to handle.

Good for custom legos though, lol.

You could print a pistol frame or AR lower with current 3D printer technology. You'll always need metal for the barrel/breech/firing pin. But polymer pistol frames are already a thing, and with that being the serial numbered part on most pistols, like the lower is for an AR, it opens the door to people getting around FFL limitations to obtaining firearms. Not that there isn't already a black market dedicated to exactly that, but you get my point.
