It was with the local 4wp store, long story but it's all resolved now. Rims will be here tomorrow & they made the situation right so i'm happy.

I wanted a new look for 2014 and I think i've accomplished that lol. Different colour X,tires, rims, front bumper etc, pretty much only the rear bumper didn't get changed

Updates!

Thanks.

Was looking at the ARB and I think im going to chop it flush with the frame and then weld a tab so it can bolt into the front of the frame horn (same way shrock bumper mounts) would give 2 1/2" more clearance

Finally got the skid plates on, took most of the day since I was working solo for the most part but it's all worth it in the end. Also chopped 4" off the hi-lift so it no longer hits the tailgate when the swing-out is opened

Had these flush mount LED lights for a few months now, finally got around to working on mounting them. Got one mounted but ran out of light so will have to continue tomorrow. Also ordered a license plate bracket for the spare tire which includes LED license plate light & brake light

Both lights mounted & ready to be wired. I wanted to keep them as high up as possible so they are less likely to get damaged. I'll be painting those plastic corners and the light housing/bolts so it all colour matches & looks a bit more subtle
36_zps0cdd2d62.jpg

Also picked up some rugged ridge seat covers for $30, made for a TJ but they actually fit pretty well. I couldn't pass them up for the price.

Thanks.

Alright so here is the final product. Before painting I used clear silicone on the front & back of the lights to totally seal it from any water

Thanks, I still need to get around to wiring them up. I'm not going to tap into reverse lights since these are too bright and I want to be able to use them whenever, so they will be on their own switch.

Got my license plate relocation bracket today. Right now its all ghetto-mounted to the spare tire with zip ties. The 3rd brake light is completely blocked by the tire & the cheap ebay license plate light only has a few lights still working so I went with something better.
This has an LED 3rd brake light & LED license plate light. I might get around to wiring it up today

Your 2nd build thread slipped past me....ugh!

I hope that Krylon holds better than the Rustoleum I put on my plastics...never again. It faded after a year. I'll have to give the Krylon Tough a shot this go-round, cause that looks goooooood.

Thanks, yeah its called krylon industrial rust tough. I could only find one store around here that sells it. Been using it for years now on all the plastics & metal, i'm really happy with how it holds up. Same stuff I used on the other X

When I bought this bumper the ARB marker lights were completely rotted away. I had some mini clearance lights that I bought a year or two ago and never really had any use for them so I put two in each housing. They are completely waterproof so I shouldn't have any issues anytime soon. They aren't bright by any means but it's enough light that you can see them. I wanted to get the mini LED pods from VLED but this was free so i'll see how I like it for now

July 4th sales got the best of me. Ended up ordering a complete retrofit kit, can't wait to get it installed! Not sure what colour I should paint the shrouds though

I like your idea of the license plate light, I think I will use that idea. I love the rear corner lights, just be VERY careful what you back up into. Its easy to back up into a tree and you know what happens next, crunch! They bend in well. I also notice your from Ontario! Welcome from one Canadian to another.

Dude I can't keep up :) keep up the great work

Holy carp! I'm jealous.

Looking really good man! I love how clean everything looks!

Thanks :) I'm liking how this truck is turning out a lot more than the last.

Thanks.I really like the license plate light too, it was fairly expensive but as long as it lasts for quite a while i'll be happy. I've never hit the rear plastic corners but i'm sure someday it will happen, I sell these LED bars though so i'm not worried about it since I can get them at a very good price :)
