Custom Grill/Cut Grill?

I am making a winch bumper and I'm mounting the winch as high up as I can. To get the most ground clearance as I can. To do that I have to cut a lot of the grill out. Has any one done this or made there own grill? I'm looking for inspiration.

Do what you need to just make sure you cut straight.
