tis but a scratch
Hard core bro!
I try! The black hills surely have some of the gnarliest wheeling in the country. Its crazy how big some of the rocks are. Its a blast!
Man. I'll have to drive up there once the swap is done. Wheel and visit family.
let me know when, we can go run Camp5/ Hal Johns
Won't be until next spring after the thaw. I plan on tearing the truck down this winter to do the Titan swap.
well let me know, you will want 35s and lockers for sure, its gnarly. Theres probably a few sections you wont even be able to get through
I had some stuff show up at my door today.... I didnt order em, didnt really pay for them, but I will take em!
might be a sign of things to come
These should be arriving in the next couple weeks! I got a screaming deal on a pair. I still need to order harnesses and build my rollcage
Ah yeah! These things are sooo comfy!
Now I want some...
The new PRP Premier high back seats are in! Custom mounts were made for both retaining the factory bolting locations.
Little snow storm cam through this afternoon. Hoping the wind blows in some nice drifts tonight.
Have you figured the rollcage out...how are you planning to tie it into the frame and all?
i havent quite designed the cage yet. As far as going to the frame, I am planning to 3x3 plates to sandwhich plate the body and run kickouts down to the frame.
...and weld the kickouts to the plate?
You planning the entire inside or just the front?
Yeah, weld tubing from the frame to the plates under the body, inside will have another plate and they will be joined with bolts.
Coming along nicely. I need new seats for mine.
Thanks! These PRPs are sooo nice! The more time I spend in them the more I dig them!
Primetime rollcagery. So far main B pillar hoop is bent up.
I'm looking forward to seeing the cage come together. I need to do one aswell as its only a matter of time till i put mine on its lid.
its so much work just to get to the point where Im at...
Doing some CAD for my sandwhich plates. Goal for tomorrow is to get them cut out and welded down. Oversized them a good bit and made the hardware much stronger than what is called for in Hammerking Productions rulebook. Not a race spec cage, but trying to be kinda close to a safe cage
How thick is the plate? Plasma cutter?
the table is 20x5' long 1" thick plate built with a 2x6x1/4" rectube frame. Its perfectly level all the way across. Heavier than a mofo too...
As for the sandwhich plates, either 3/16 or 1/4 just depends on what I have laying around. I will likely have to hand plas them since I couldnt convince our table guy to come in and cut them for me
Ended up using some 3/16" for the top plates.
