2003 Nissan Xterra SE 4x2
Welcome to my somewhat build thread. I haven't done much yet but I would love suggestions and comments. I got my xterra in August of 2013 and have since done simple an inexpensive mods. I would like to do a lot more stuff to it in the future but I am a student pilot which is not cheap. Here's what I have so far:

The first day I got her. Pretty much bone stock besides the missing roof rack and basket which I would eventually like to get.

The first thing I did was paint the front and rear Nissan emblems as well as the brake calipers

Then I changed the interior and license plate lights to LEDs

And added some stickers...

Then plasti-dipped the rims black

And took the running boards off, cranked the torsion bars, and painted the silver bar on the grill black.

And plasti dipped the center console black

Then added some blue LEDs to the gauge cluster (which I later took out)

And here she sits today

Obviously this is far from being complete and is just my start at the build.
Things I would eventually like to do:
-get wind dam and basket
- install HID's
-paint plastics black
- bed line grill/ roof rack
- get AT tires
- offroad LED lights
- train horn
- LOBO rack
- suspension lift
- more stuff that I can't think of right now.

Anyways I will be posting more pictures as I do more upgrades. Any recommendations would be appreciated that you guys/ gals might have.

Nice X! I've always been partial to that color.

What kind of off-roading / traveling do you plan on using your X for? That will give you a good idea of which direction to take, i.e. rock crawler, overlander, etc.

I'm not looking to rock crawl or anything like that but I would like it to be capable of going on offroad trails and stuff similar to that. And drive on a lot of desert terrain (since it's all around where I live).
