Clash of the Xterra?

Alright so I did some surfing around the forum here and can't seem to find a thread that discusses first gen xterra titan swaps? Am I pissing up a rope here? Is this possible? If no then why not? I have a 2004 Xterra 2WD V6 SE model. Why build it up? Because some MF always like to ice skate uphill as stated elsewhere. Eventually would like; Titan Swap Front End & Rear Diff, Locking/Locked Rear Diff, 35" tires with room to move in the wheel well. If it was my keeper I would do a Titan V8 swap and SAS front and rear but I'm just making lemonade here. I will eventually get a full size Titan and build it but thats for future years budgets. For now I just want to clean it up, raise it up and get around well in my city commute through the winter wonderland. Anybody done this? Any potential hurdles/tips? Thanks in advance. Get some.

Anything is possible with enough $$$$. The main issue you're looking at is the 1st Gen is a completely different platform from the 2nd Gen. Titan and 2nd Gen are virtually the same platform, just with some extra length and a wider track; that's what makes the TS so feasible on the 2nd.

I'll let @Prime speak to details, as he's owned both and is going through a TS now, but the short answer is everything will be beyond custom fab'd to make Titan parts fit on a 1st Gen.

Knowing that info I will likely just do shackles in the back, UCAs and upgraded shocks. Might still look around for an air locker on the cheap for the rear diff tho and some HP stickers. If anyone knows where to get a NISMO or other cool guy sticker pack hit me up...
