I need some clarification. Is this "what apple do you just grab off a tree and eat", or more of a general apple preference poll? I tend to go across the entire spectrum depending on mood and what I am doing with it. Just eating, usually something on the sweeter side (although a nice fresh tart crab-apple is wonderful). Baking, I tend to go more towards the tart side. Over the past year, I have probably eaten at least one of 90% of the options on that poll in some form or another, and did not regret the decision.
