Does anyone on here have the cables that go from your roof to your front bumper or hood? If so how did you do it? What items will I need and what problems could I run into? Thanks in advanced

There is someone who has them, but idk if they are on this board. IIRC, they hooked the cable to their aftermarket bumper which had light guards and then brought them to the roof rack.

So there are a couple ways to do them, one is as stated above. Attack them to the headlight guards on an aftermarket bumper. The other way is to make a bracket that goes in the body gap between the hood and fender. I actually am working on a prototype behind the scenes of everything else to do it this way while being able to remove the cables for daily driven.

There are a few people on here that have done it. I think someone used cb antenna mounts to attach one end to the hood

Had a guy done it here, but he used plain steel cable wrapped around his bumper bar and his aftermarket rack. Didn't do a writeup or anything, and the post he references on XterraPerformance, I can't find.

you do need o remember to put a spring on each side, or the body movement in relation to the frame will do some ugly work on all of it

Do a search for "limb riser" either on forums or on Google in general and you'll get a lot more results and probably find lots of ways to do this project. As harryron said, this is a very common mod among the Land Rover crowd, so maybe check out those forums, and also check out Expedition Portal.
