Brake line rubbed tire - is tire toast?

I am on my way back from a WA to CO road trip. Unfortunately I realized about 3500 miles in that my stainless steel brake line has veen rubbing the inside of the tire the whole time.

The brake line started fraying and then the sharp fray dug into the tire. Rubber flakes were EVERYWHERE and glued via leftover grease to the suspension and wheel. Brake line is not leaking but def needs replacement. But how about the tire? Apologize for pics, this is all i could get. Inner white core is exposed.

Should I replace tire, keep as spare only, or is it OK to run?

What rating is the tire? Is it passenger 3-ply or LT 10-ply (or whatever thickness that brand of tire uses)?

I'd say so. Since he started the thread.

I'd definitely replace that tire.
LOL yeah I know, I was referring to my link to the specific model of tire that he's running. But I was wrong about the size, I assumed 16" and it's 17", and LR D. Still better than a

Agreed to replace the tire!

Here is the aftermath. I can't tell if this is just the white inner layer (same as you'd see on someone who keeps scraping against curbs) or worse. I do know that this tire made it over 3000 miles with some form of scraping damage. It's being reserved as a permanent spare for now... We'll see if I end up replacing it.

Not sure how the brake lines aren't leaking! I got lucky.
