Brake Caliper Bracket - Orientation Of Bolts?

Anyone know if it matters which side either of these bolts go on in the brake caliper bracket? One of them has a little indent that needs a rubber cover over it. I don't really get the point. But I'm sure it's supposed to go on one side over the other. How do I identify which goes in which?

And before you say look at the old one... I took those bolts out of the old one not realizing they were different...

Try looking at the FSM. Those are glide pins, and you need to lube them with this:

Edit:

I just looked and it doesn't say, but it does say to "replace the upper sliding pin at each service". I'd guess it goes in the upper, but you need to confirm. It does matter.
