Got the hatch sanded a bit today and I think I'm never getting it to its original color again, so I might go aluminum for a new roof. Still doing some research

Well back from Vacation and decided to to a little tinkering today.

Got my new power vent, who knew that 5 day shipping actually meant overnight?

Old vent removed along with old lights

Old and new vents

And no more ugly wiring

Main goal is to get it refinished and sealed before WENT so I can use it for its maiden voyage

Andddd I got bored so I did more sanding.

Well got it chugging along, getting some done after work each day.

Got the front all finshed sanding

Started the side

Even got the female unit to help!

Trying to get this thing down to WENT, i only have about 2 weekends to get that done, we will see. But anyway here's a nice update.

Got it all sanded down and started staining. Looks ok for the age and the codition the wood was in.

Tail lights are all reinstalled and wired and much brighter!

Time to give her some new shoes

I found a set from before I upgraded the X to 33's I think it should work

And got some sanding

But got some new wheels mounted on those rims, they just fit (The X's old set of tires, glad I saved them )

Finished roughing out the wiring

And inside outlets ready to be wired

So some updates from this past week

Inside outlets are all wired up. Ac and DC

Same with the back outlets

The power station is almost all finished

And the fenders are all on!

Got the batterys in, eventually I'll have a battery tender. But for now 2 work expecially when they are free

Cleaned up and cooler fit test

Got her out of the garage and towed it around

Yes, the problem right now is I'm back in school and dont have an income. So to lift it more, I need a new axle for it. One with hubs and wheels that match the X. The old X's tires fit on the existing "chrome" wheels so she sits about 4 inches higher now anyway. I am going to tinker her and there with it but I dont have much to drop for new wheels tires and axle.

I gotcha. Once you get her sitting right with matching wheels/tires, it'll be looking great!

So thinking of starting her back up again

I now have some interieor lights and some entertainment for when the weather is lousy

Sadly, the trip has been pushed off. To when? I am not exactly sure. I became too important at work and can not take off the time I need. But the trailer I will still be keeping and working on!

Today was a nice day and I had some energy after work so I started something I had been thinking about over the winter.

Had a pair of E-350 roof racks laying around the shop. They will work perfect for a roof rack for the trailer after some modifiying! Trim a little shorter and then bam! Some primer!

The good news is I took off the week for WENT already. Haven't decided yet if I'll bring it or not but I will be at WENT!

Big jump today with the beautiful weather... No more slamming my fingers in the hatch! After 2 hours of cursing and messed up holes I got the gas shocks in place!

and mounted my jerry can holder My gf got me for christmas!

Oh, and also got the roof rack figured out, it is hard to level things on a curved surface.

Annnnddd now I am almost set for summer!

I just need to figure out the battery situation. Where to relocate them to. And get an actual bed inside
