I'd only do the swap if I get the supercharger for the high altitude locations and if my VQ is on the rocks. I know of three VK's 30 min from me for $1200CAD and low miles. That is cheaper (like less than half) than a replacement VQ.

Nice man. Considering I live at ~7,000 MSL, I'd say I'm at a high enough altitude lol

Ya, it makes a huge difference. I'm at like 120m (~400ft) above sea level and when I got into Colorado I pulled over on the i-70 cause I thought my Xterra had a power issue. It then dawned on me that the elevation combined with high winds (opposite direction) meant no power. I was in 3rd gear going 65mph lol.

of course, the computers will compensate as much as possible. without forced induction, you'll be dogging it. I'll only be at 6psi. when I build the bottom end, I'll bump that up

A little update for ya. We decided to go with the CJD E-fan setup and ditch the V8 Pathy shroud and fan clutch. Will give me some extra room with what is all packed in there. We also went with a new CSF condenser to replace my old one. Also, last but not least, we went with the PML trans pan (1 qt over stock) Would love the deep pan but that wont clear the skids.

should have some more pics for you fiends this weekend lol

any write up for the pathfinder center console? this thing is so insane!

Not yet. it involves a Pathfinder center console. relocating hand brake to foot brake, some dash components from the Pathy. I also have the shiftronic/slapshift shifter from the Pathfinder. We also did the 2013+ Frontier HVAC control . pics will be coming soon

Holy crap that's amazing man! Gotta let us know when you put that thing on the dyno.

Absolutely. should be done within the next week or so and then to the tuner. depending on the schedule with what's going on now, it may be a couple of weeks yet.

What modifications did you have to do to the pathy center console to get it under the Xterra center stack cover? I've looked at my wife's Pathy and it looks very different.

it's a complete center console from a 2012 V8 Pathy. had to order a couple small dash piece . it uses the V8 shifter (swapping out knob to a Momo Automatica Aluminum) relocate the handbrake to the foot.

used this p/n also

the radio bezel and HVAC are 09+ Frontier

Those pathfinder seats or from a Titan? I sat in my buddy's 2011 LE pathfinder and liked his seats much better. I think they would bolt right into the Xterra.

These are 2013 Titan Pro 4X seats as noted by the "Pro4X" on them in an earlier pic :) I am working on getting some perforated center sections and high flow foam backing to cover the seat centers (minus the P4X section) to do the heatwd/cooled TED units from leatherseats.com. Also, going to replace the molded center console lid and get a custom molded leather lid with contrast stitching to match the seats and hopeful doing a wireless charging pad built in to the top lid.

As far as these seats fitting, the Xtwrra supports had to be cut off the original seats and welded on to the Titan seats. I'm not sure but the R5q seats may work with less effort

Man I hope you get to keep the Xterra for a long time after all this. My biggest fear when I was putting money into my z06 corvette was that some a-hole was gonna crash into me and total it. The fear is a bit less with this vehicle, but I've put so much of my time and effort into the X I'd lose my shiat if a guy in a dodge was texting and totalled it when he crashed into me.

Yes indeed! I share your same sentiments as wel . I have it insured for quite a bit. I have all of my receipts and invoices since I started modding it. I would completely lose it if some odiot did that. I'm just going to be very defensive with it and keep my situational awareness at an extremely elevated level!

on another note, where did you get the little son/off switch doe your aux tank pump?

It's just a simple on/off switch. Google "rocker switch with led round" and it will pop right up.

excellent. I figured it would be something simple like that! I'm going to try to get a fabricator to make the DIY kit minus the tank and pump so as not to be liable for anythin .

That would be cool, I wish the shop wanted to do it, but they are busy with other things. The pump is lifetime warranty and the tank is available in plastic (Spectrum I believe) or steel which I got. Those aren't the issue for a kit though, the issue is the filler neck has to be modified to incorporate the air flow line from the auxiliary tank and it is thin metal (harder to weld).

yeah that is the tricky part for sure. how has it performed so far?

by the way, here is my invoice/receipts/mods list and the paperwork keeps growing. I have a three ring binder for everything with a current running total for parts and labor lol.

New Momo Automatico versus OEM shifter.

No big updates but happy to report that the post-swap bugs we ran in to have been addressed and will soon be taken care of this coming week. Hopefully will have a cold start video in the next week or so. then it's tuning time if this virus allows
