Biggest tires on Stock 15’s

Hey guys, new to the forum. Just got blessed with a 2000 Xterra SE and I love it so far. I’ve done some searching but I can’t seem to find a definitive answer. The current specs I run with is a 15 inch stock wheel, and 2 inch spacers on all 4 corners. My question is, with 2 inch spacers and NO lift, what is the biggest, widest tire sizes I can fit under the X with this set up? Let me know guys and thank you very much.

Thank you very much for the help. I just found another forum that said 32x11.5 will work with plastic trimming. Is this true??

Yes. If you are running 265/75 now that's basically a 10.5 tire. Extra inch will still fit your stock wheels, and you are running spacers. Your issue will be where the tire contacts the body, front and rear during turning. If you dont mind cutting/trimming some, you should have no issue. How close to the body does your current set up go?

Currently I have 235/70/15. Which is way too small for my liking. I’m planning on removing the front mud flaps and trimming plastic inside the wheel well to try and fit the 32x11.5’s. If the spacers are a problem I can always remove them, I was just wondering if I could even run the 32’s on the stock 15 inch rim with no lift, but it sounds like I’m good i guess. Will removing the plastics help?

You are for sure. I ran 32" tires on factory-ish wheels no problem. That 15" wheel should be 7" wide, so your tire should fit. Are you familiar with the "melt mod"? Its typically only done for 33" tires, but if you run into fitment issues it may help. I think removing/trimming plastics should be all you need to do.

Alright I’m about to order some nankang MT’s tonight 32x11.5r15. No lift, 2 inch spacers. Removed the front muds(front and back part). Should the 32’s fit without a lift and with the spacers? I just want to make sure before I drop 500-600 on a set! Otherwise I can just go 265/70 but they seem a bit small for the liking. Thanks for letting me double check without giving me a super hard time ;) y’all rock.
