This has probably been asked a million times already and if so I apologize...
But I have a 02 X 4x4 that I have done the PML on. Maxed out. I am wanting to go from the 265/70/16 ATs to a 285/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler AT. Will this work?
The mud flaps a coming off anyway (don’t like them). Any other rubbing, trimming, or anything? Not looking to cut metal, she is too nice to destroy. But plastics I don’t care about. Thanks for the input.

The 285/75/16s fit perfectly. Didn’t have to remove the factory mud flap for clearance, even though I did.. Definitely gonna need that 2” BL , they fill up the fender space to much. Post a pic tomorrow.

2002 SE 4x4. PML with 285/75/16s No trimming or rubbing. Removed the factory mud flaps for a better look.

so this wouldn't have rubbed the rearmost front plastic mud flaps? It looks like it would have been close if you didn't remove them!

My thoughts and advice...

Fit is subjective. It may fit at ride height...but what about turning at full lock when wheels are stuffed in wheel well from off camber ruts? Depends what you are willing to deal with.

I haven't tried that specific lift height and tire size personally, but the general advice is a 2" BL is needed for 33s.
