Just humoring the idea of SASing my X somewhere down the road. What would be the PRO's and CON's? I know this can be a bit vague, but I'm fairly new and trying to understand.

Well cost can huge con. And right now I don't believe there is kit for the 2nd Gens so ya have to be good with metal working to create it or know someone that can do it for ya. I haven't finished mine yet but so I can't really give any pros right now

Hmm, shows how much research I've done.. Haha
Well by the time I decide to do so, I'm sure there will be something out.

The big con is that after you SAS, your resale market drops to almost nothing. Dealers don't really want them because of the limited marketability, and most people want to build there own so that they know exactly how it was put together. Like weld quality, gear setup, you know that kind of stuff.

See that's a good point I didn't even think about. Like mine I'm building it how I want and I plan on it keeping forever. But if I ever try to sell it I will never get what I put in it out of it. If I can sell it cause of what is done to mine. All things too think about. The other big thing to think about is what kind of wheeling do you plan on doing. The X is pretty capable as it is. And if you do a TS with front a rear lockers there's not much you can't do and it cheaper and easier

SAS = good rock performance, huge cost, and no resale value....so you get ~ none of your money back....so you are stuck with it, and better "love it long time"....or just have the disposable income to have your fun and not worry about it.

No Cons, all Pros hahah. No, others have pretty much covered it, cost is fairly high, you have to find the right buyer of you do decide to sell it. As long as it's setup right though road manners can still be good. As deadpilot said it really depends on what you plan on doing with the rig. 2nd gens can be very capable with a Titan front end swap and some decent rear springs and good shocks. Don't go cheap on the shocks and make sure they are sized right
