Automatic Transmission acting up

Hi everyone, just hit 140K miles a few days ago and now my transmission is angry. I have serviced the transmission my self regularly about every 25k-30K miles, the fluid always came out looking fresh. In the recent months I had started to worry that the transmission was not down shifting properly when I would press on the accelerator while already driving. It felt like I had to push the accelerator more than normal to get it to down shift and speed up, but I couldn't tell if this was really happening or if it was all in my head. I just did another drain and fill recently, fluid still looked great coming out. I went for a drive the day after I serviced the fluid, I pulled up to a 4 way stop and mostly stopped but also kind of rolled through the sign, but when I went to accelerate the transmission did not engage immediately, the engine revved up slightly and then it engaged after I heard a clunk, the whole truck shook as well. It then proceeded to drive like normal, it happened a second time that same day but the second occasion was not nearly as rough. I checked the fluid level while it was hot, it was just barely over the HOT full line on the dip stick. I drained a small amount of fluid out, maybe 1/5 quart of fluid. The fluid now resides about 3/4 full on the hot fill indicator on the dip stick. I went for a drive after that and it did the same thing, but it was even less harsh the last time it happened. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm thinking about taking it in to Aamco to have them take a look at it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
