    This just happened.

I'm Jarryd in the conversation. I heard they were thinking about making them, but I didn't know they were actually going to do it. Pretty exciting to have more options for us!

I foresee the r180 and the c200k being either not made or stupid expensive. Not all of us can swap both diffs dang-it.

I thought Aussie lockers are essentially the same as Lokka's. I have no other fact on this other than what I heard. But are they different?

I believe you're correct, in that mechanically they are the same. I want to say that they are significantly cheaper though.

I can see this only happening for the 2nd gens and the 1st gens getting left out in the cold.... Hopefully it happens

They at least WERE the same company until fairly recently...and, in my Jeep groups, it was "Hey, Lokka's are coming for our Wranglers!"

They will be like the Aussie Lockers only Cheaper!

    and so forth.

    :D

    From their site:

From 2003 to 2012 it was best known in North America under the brand name Aussie Locker™*

Q22. What is the history of LOKKA?

LOKKA has been manufactured in Australia since the late 1990’s and has been sold globally under its own brand name or re-branded for local resellers.

From 2003 to 2012 it was best known in North America under the brand name Aussie Locker™*

The Aussie Locker™ model listing was only a small subset of the total number of products that were available.

Small glimmer of hope regardless. I've accepted the fact that I'll be looking at an air locker when the time comes.

For the rears, the ARB seems to be it so far.

    The front Lokkas rock though.

    ARB, ftw!

Still, always nice to see another option and the aftermarket growing for Xterras in general.
