This is the first I've heard of the airbags being so sensitive. Is the truck sensing an imminent rollover in that mogulish type of terrain? When we did the old HWY 87 route, it was about 15 miles of sandy beach road pitching us back and forth like that. I'd have been a little more wary and driven slower if I'd been aware of a possible airbag issue. Does anyone know if it's a rare thing or if any of them are liable to pop like that?

Mel is who I was thinking of with the side airbags...yeah, I assume that's the case, pitching back and forth and it reads a roll-over...lame.

Ha Ha Jason! Your pro-4x sucks!

Well that sucks. Oh well, my options are to hope the airbags don't blow until I need them, or hope they blow before the warranty expires and I trade it in on a sports cars.

How is this fair? You have 4 full size trucks vs 3 SUVs and a Jeep?

Seems like the SUVs should go head to head and the big trucks go head to head.

Maybe they could throw a H1 in the mix too.. and my daughters tricycle..

well the raptor is amazing if your into the dezert scene..... i've seen a couple at the dunes just completely demolish the dunes stock. never seen them offroad like trails though.

I saw a review for the '12 version in 4WheelerMag. They love them, even for climbing, but they are wide as heck and can only be rivaled by the H2 in width.

ya they are wide, which is a nice stance for dezert but trails not so much. i'm surprised they gave it a good review for trails and stuff. i'm sure it can climb too they have a ton of power..

Back to the airbag issue, someone at gone had them go off on them. I think marcin knows how I disable them I think it's a fuse pull or something simple. But they are triggered at a certain degree of off kilter.

No one's bragging. We're all categorically disappointed. You should read the thread as well as the article.
