Are turn signal flashers separate from emergency flashers?

Took this out and emergency still works...

If you check out @Prime 's build, he did a mod for his lights that's neat. Same thing you're taking about, I believe.

Thanks, I'll look into it. My googling (or my horrible troubleshooting) lead me to believe the blinkers were on a separate line than the emergency flasher so I was looking for that, once I figured out they were connected I pulled the emergency switch and found a bent prong...they are pretty stiff...not sure how I managed to not feal it. At least it was easy this time....after tearing off all the interior lol.
