Untappd is an app. that lets you find local breweries and bars, as well as what they're offering on tap.
The app. also lets you share what you're drinking, where you're drinking it, write a quick review of it and rate it 1-5 stars in .5 star increments, and share a photo if you'd like. It lets you see who's near you and what they're drinking, and it lets you build a friend list to give you a constant feed of what your friends are drinking and where they are. It also uses the beers you share to give you suggestions on similar beers that you might like, and where to find them locally.
The app. keeps it fun and interesting by rewarding you with "badges", and every now and then there's even an opportunity to enter a giveaway of beer-related swag.
It's a cool way to keep track of and share the beers you've had and liked, and where you found them.
