Hey guys...

So moving from Montana to here, there's not that many off roading vehicles considering that Lexington is a densely populated growing city. With that being said, there's not that many places to really go off roading. Looking for a group of guys who share the passion that's within city limits or possibly even a couple hours away.

Check out the Daniel Boone National Forest land. I hear there is good off road in that area. I only get out there on rare occasion, and last few times I did couldn't really explore much, but I keep hearing rumors there are some really good trails all around eastern KY. Start looking around Slade, Livingston, and the general area between London and Morehead. All that is within an hour or two at most drive of you, and is a huge area.

This is a good place to start looking for trails:

If I were closer to that area, I'd explore it, but it takes me 4-5 hours just to get out there, so my trips usually focus on whatever feature I went to see with little time to just randomly search around. I love that part of the state though, it's beautiful country, and for some odd reason I just feel at home out there. Of course seeing as your not a native, be mindful just where you explore, there are places out in those hills it's probably not real smart to go, which holds true for anywhere, but it for sure can apply to eastern KY.

Awesome! I'm actually going to Fort Knox this weekend if any of you guys are down. My girlfriends brother wants to show me this trail that's on the Army Base.

I was going to suggest Big Rock in Maysville but according to the web site they are closed down as of 10/25. Now I have to find a close fun park.
