Anyone recommend a dealership in Suffolk, Long Island area? Story in description.

So I bought my 2014 xterra with 15,000 miles roughly from the Smithtown dealership almost a year and a half ago. Ever since I got it it had this chirping sound coming from the front right tire but wasn't too bad. The back axle was also making a slipping sound, at least it sounded like it was coming from that area. I took it in many times to get it looked at because it was annoying and every time they said it was normal. Sometimes the techs were nice enough to lube everything up and it was fine for a few months and then started up again. The truck was stock at this time. I lifted the truck and did some mods and the sounds still continued but didn't get worse. Recently it's gotten really bad. The front right chirps none stop under any amount of compression and the back makes the slipping sound every time I speed up or slow down. Now they throw every excuse at me to not look at it: the truck is lifted, heavily moded, you off road it so it's going to break (the only off-road I do is Sandy beaches and that's not often). Every time I took in in for maintenance I had them look at the issue over and over every time. They pretty much told me this time that they refuse to look at the issue because nothing is wrong. I just hit 36,000 miles so it no longer is under warranty unfortunately and everything if anything has to be paid out of pocket. I'm starting to hate driving this amazing vehicle because of these really annoying sounds. It's pretty loud when they happen so people stare like it's falling apart. Anyone have a dealership they deal with in the suffolk long Island area that they recommend?

I should also add that I was going to buy an extended warranty either through my insurance or through the dealership and they advised me to not do so because they won't honor it since my truck is modified. I know the whole rule they can't deny it unless they prove the issue is related to what ever part is modified but they said they won't even look at it.

Hello there fellow Suffolk County friend! I have never seen you around. Watch for my modified red first gen. Lol

I've only had my truck to Smithtown Nissan once and that was to honestly to program my keyless remote.

I have my suspension done in Hicksville. At Hicksville spring and auto lab. They are pricy but they know what they are doing for sure.

Maybe a second gen guy will key in for these strange sounds. Ever need a hand let me know lol

I don't see many first gens modified around me. I do have someone around my block a few times and a red second gen who I belive belongs to LIXTERRA or at least i think that's his name.

I have no idea what you mean when you say a slipping noise, but the chirp up front could be a really easy fix. First is the sound rotational, as in does it change pitch or rate with a difference in speed? does it stop when you touch the brakes? Does it happen when you are at full lock one way or the other?

Could be a wear tab on the front pad touching, could be a sticky slide on the front brakes, a steering stop. could be a bunch of different things that are not hard to fix. You just have to start looking at each system looking for a really clean spot, and there is where the chirp is coming from.

It's not speed related or brake related. I'm starting to think it's the sway bar bushing that's making the sound because it's only when the right tire dips lower than the left.

give them a good shot of your lube of choice, I think that mine is sitting in the corner of the garage, I say think because it has been gone so long that I don't actually know if it is there anymore

WD-40 is a bad idea right? It dries out rubber and plastics I believe.
