Anyone ever replace an airbag cover (passenger side)?

I have a 2003 Xterra that I'm guessing had an airbag deployment. So the cover in the dashboard over the airbag is messed up. Looks like it was taken to an "expert" and repaired. It's rough looking. Can I buy just the cover and replace it? I had the glove box out to replace cabin air filter, and it looked like I had an intact airbag in there. Just need a new cover.

Any ideas?

Any chance you can share a pic? As far as I know those arent separate. Wondering how you got a ruptured dash and not the airbag. Maybe I'm wrong...

Taken at night, so not the best picture.

Well, I replaced the airbag Saturday. I didn't die, and the final result looks great. The only issue was - when I completely finished, I felt like I forgot something. I did. I forgot to plug in the new airbag. I pulled the glove box back up, plugged in the airbag, and replaced the glove box.

Nice job. Was there any trick to it, or was it self-explanatory? Just curious.
No, it was fairly easy actually. The only issue you might have is the 2 star bolts, but mine were standard. Guessing it had already been replaced once.
