You should also get some webbed gloves, then you can paddle if you are going slow.

Also you should look at BellYaks, I just heard about them from a buddy when I was talking to him about these. Same principle, a little bit of a different execution.

im confused lol

Don't get me wrong this looks awesome. But I'm a big fan of avoiding rocks at all cost (hens engines and open water). I've hit a few rocks in some rapids before being drunk young and dumb.

Now I just sit on a tube and float down a slow moving river.

Back to the topic at hand do you guys were flippers with these to help steer and stuff. Some short hard plastic ones?

I just ordered a set of the hydro tech 2 ocean fins. There by the most comfortable.

@metizcan, to turn these things you kick the opposite foot of the direction you wanna go, left= right foot, right= left foot. It takes some getting use to in the water

The anvil is suppose to handle bette in the water than traditional boards. It's gonna for sure offer more protection

@ road warrior - I've been looking at darkfin gloves, but have made up my mind.

So...riverboarding was in the first-ever Xterra commercials! ("Everything you need, nothing you don't") - showed a guy leaping into the water all padded up on a boogey board...a buddy of mine was making boards for a while out of colorado, I think he gave it up a couple years ago.

He's quoted in this story

Back in the day when we tried this, it was with boogie boards and hockey pads....

This isn't the one I remember, but still cool...
