Anybody know where the other end of the harness wire for 2002, V6, auto trans, non SC, VSS sensor should connect to?

Hey all.
Speedometer and Odometer not working. Tested VSS sensor and it is good. Issue is I followed the wire from it which leads to be area between back of engine and firewall. The wire is disconnected with no connector end on it. Does anybody know where it is supposed to go? Having no results with electric diagrams from repair manual.

Found out the relocated knock sensor was attached to a connector running off of the harness on top of the plenum and since corrected by using the original knock wire. Could this now empty connector be the location where VSS harness is supposed to plug in?

Speedometer and Odometer now working.
Spliced the VSS harness wire back to the connector the knock sensor was wrongly placed at and Speedometer and Odometer are working great. Thanks again.
