    Winter is coming, so I thought I’d see if there were any other telemark skiers on the board.
    Been dropping knees for 20 years now, and still loving it.
    Current ride is K2 Coomback with 7tmPowerTours & T2’s. Also have a set of 3 pins & leathers for meadow days when the avvy risk is too high to be playing on the big stuff.

    I haven't tried telemarking yet. I have a friend up at PK that has a spare setup that he is going to lend me this year so he can laugh at me.

    Get ahold of “Allen & Mike Telemark Tips” book. Great series of tips presented in cartoon style which worked wonders for me when I was learning.

    I used to teli. I started getting hip and knee issues from hauling the weight (I love my black and yellow T1s and wood core alpine skis :D). I switched to AT for backcountry about 8 yrs ago, but still break out my teles on mountain and when I take the kids sledding once and a while.
