Antifreeze question

I'm looking into a coolant flush, replace sensor and t-stat, maybe water pump since it will be drained, and refill. My question: what is everyone using for Antifreeze coolant? The Nissan Antifreeze blue 50/50 or are there other Antifreeze selections that is equal spec to the Nissan Antifreeze blue 50/50 from the dealership

The water pump is driven by the timing chain and requires you to completely disassemble the front of the engine. You might reconsider that idea.

I've been running the green 50/50 "universal" mix for around 80k miles without issue.

I picked up Zerex Blue at Oreilly's. Like Terry, I don't see a need to replace anything unless you are actually having problems.

And depending on mileage, t-stat may be a good idea. I think mine started leaking through about 160k. It wouldn't warm up on short trips and the heater would cool off at stops.

Fair enough, I will put off on the water pump and do the T-stat and sensor. I'm doing a full tuneup. Uknown when services was done. so far with replacing fluids of engine oil, t-case, tranny and F & R differentials. seems like a very long time. The vehicle was purchased for my dauther so she can go off to college so I need to make sure I redo everything to have a better piece of mind. Thanks
