It is! You should try to attend. So far we got ten trucks, five running "Blacks" and five running "Blues" (no "Greens"). We got enough Trail Leaders for a few groups if we end up running more than two...you'd be welcomed bro...

That would be great! Thanks

Everyone will be welcome. Please review the OP HERE, print and fill out the paperwork then bring it with you. The park is open to all however if you don’t hand me a filled out NEXterra waiver you can’t run with our group. Make sure you have tires that can handle it this time of year. Road tires will not work and you’ll be lucky to make it through the parking lot with them. AT’s at least, MT’s if there is any snow on the ground.
It makes it easier for us to organize the thing if you sign up and I thought we made it easy to do so. Please help me out by letting me know if and why you can’t.

I might make this my berfday present to myself this year, hopefully
That would be very cool.

If you’ve never been to Rausch during the winter let me give you a heads up;
I’ve been going to Rausch in January for more years than I’d care to say. It can be like a beautiful fall day or a white out blizzard. When there is snow and/or ice the trail markers don’t really mean much. Some “Greens” are like “Blacks” do to sliding on any off camber section. Some “Blacks” are like “Greens” because all the voids in a rocky section are filled with ice leveling out the trail. It’s crazy but lots of fun. The majority of guys attending are seasoned, know the park well and know our trucks. It looks as if we will have at least 3 groups; one "Black", one "Blue" and one "Green". Each group’s leader has the experience to lead you safely.
I cannot state strongly enough that good tires are your most important asset for winter wheeling….that and a front and rear tow point.
Sounds like fun, right?

My first time up was in winter, a few years back right after I got the MX actually. I was "that guy" that showed up to his first trip and didn't even know what airing down was. I totally learned the hard way, but was hooked immediately. So it will be nice to go back now that I know my rig a lot better and I have much more experience with wheeling in general. I am just hoping i can swing it - I have been wanting to return for a couple years now.
