FRS radios set to channel 2-7 (if you don't have one it is OK, extras will be brought)
CB radios set to channel 27 (not required but better than FRS) and those who have HAM radio 146.46 Mhz Simplex (not required)

Anyone geocachers...if you want, lets pick a few caches and play a bit that way as well.

Other notes:

Bring an extra 5 gallon gas can and food. We will venture through Cedar Fort, past 5 mile, and out to the Pony Xpress trail. We hit Simpson springs for lunch, go to the bird sanctuary (usually Eagles perched on trees) and then around the "lake". Through Callao and north to Gold Hill. From there we hit the asphalt up to Wendover. We get dinner as a club and then hit the road after a couple rounds of "see who can last the longest on $1 - nickel slots." We then take I-80 home.

We follow treadlightly.org/ policy and recommendations, Also please be respectful of others and others property, and follow all traffic laws as applicable and BE SAFE! We want to have fun exploring a part of Utah/Nevada that most people never do.

It will be a long but fun day.

Must brings:
1. Food (lunch, drinks, emergency food)
2. Fuel, 5 gallon extra
3. Remove step rails and mud flaps (for your own good)
4. FRS (walkie talkie hand held radios) or CB or Both
5. Tow strap

There is something about the group sticking together. If you need to head home early please post so we can plan on you bailing and help you gauge the time and fuel needed to safely come home.

We may take a couple side detours. When we do, collectively we agree and stay together.

UXOC has never been known for pressuring people into doing obstacles that you would not want to do. We know how far you can push the vehicle and in most cases it will out-go the driver. UXOC believes in spotting each other. If you request a spotter, YOU MUST trust in them and watch for their hand signals. Do not drive over your head.

So, post if you are interested and able to come. We hope to see you this year!!

ALSO we are keeping the conversation going over at the UXOC site so we have a single point of contact, not trying to take away from this forum.

Looks like a good time, I'll see if I can make this one.

Last year, only Gen II Xterras showed up, and we need better representation from Gen I Xterras, so you have to come. Plus, I want to see your SAS's Build-of-the-year winning Xterra in person!
