So I was driving to start my new job today around 9a.m. Est when i hear my motor over my music get really loud and I see smoke behind me after a bit i feel my little girl lose power. I turn into my destination and park. I look around and see that there is a little bit of a trail leading to my car. I look under and see a puddle of oil. Lucky there was a gas station closer and i ran there. "if I add more oil I'll be fine to get home later toady" that was not the case. Anyone have any clue on what may be wrong, and how hard will be it to fix it myself. would like to save money on the labor. Life hasn't been kind lately, money wise.

- any help with be gratelful thanks

We'll need to know where it was coming from on the engine to start offering guesses.

Can you see where it was coming from on the engine?

I couple pics would go a long way here. Did you hit something, was there any noise before it did what it did? Like Prime said, did you see a light?

Thanks guys for reaching out. Sorry I forgot to update what has happen, but I found out what when wrong.

No there was no pressure light warring of anything kind. Didn't hit anything. Honestly it didn't occur to me to crawl under. Since when I popped the hood I saw a thin layer of oil everywhere. Once I crawled under and got the quarter plate off it was simple fix. I guess the last owner cut a corner and instead of replacing the transmission line, he cut out the damage half and replace it with a fuel line hose he had laying around.
I was far more worried due to the fact I was hearing an … almost a key/spare change noise whenever I go over 2k rpm. Its been that way since I got her. And I haven't got the time to investigating what could be. Right now she running just like she was. I'll tackle that noise real soon since I need to do a full tune up on her. Spark plug oil filter and all of it.

Sounds like it might be bypassed. Get us some pictures so we can see what's been done. You might need to replace your radiator and get the transmission cooler plumbed in properly.

The rattle is likely something loose like a heatshield, or the vias “rattle”. Not really harmful, but annoying.
