Ok, I am new to the off road scene but not into mechanics or vehicle modifications. I know I am a newbie to this, so please bear with me.

I have a 2004 X V6 4x4. I would like ya'lls opinions and help or input

I ordered a 3'' SL and will have it next monday. My plan is to do the 3" SL and a 2" body lift. I also plan on getting 33x12.5.16 Mickey Thompson Baja Claw MTZ's mounted on 16x8 Dick Cepeks with 4'' BS. Is this a good, or even ok, setup?

Here is a list of the things I want to do:
3" SL
2" BL
Rock Sliders
Front mount winch bumper
Rear tire mount bumper
Full underneath skids
Snorkel
Magnaflow exhaust
9,000 lbs Warn integrated solenoid winch

I have already installed a steering stabilizer and wrapped the headliner and door panel inserts in real tree ap fabric and ordered the matching seat covers. Any input on the viability of what I want to do would be greatly appreciated.

I thought I might have to do some metal cutting, but not entirely sure. I've heard several people say that they didn't and some said they did. If I did have to, I wouldn't think I would have to cut a lot

You shouldn't have to trim much with that amount of lift. Rwb03 here is running 33/12.50s on a 3.75 and 10 inch wide wheel and he only has a pml and 2 inch body lift. Had to cut some but not a lot at all. And the stibility being that low and wide is awesome.

I'm running 33x12.5s on a 15x8 with 4.75 BS. I've only got a 2" BL and cranked torsion bars. I had to trim about 1/2 inch of metal behind the wheel where the plastic mounted to and it still rubs a little under compression.

With your setup you'll probably have to do the same thing as me in terms of trimming. I used a dremel with a metal cutoff wheel and tin shears and it wasn't bad at all.

I will be running the Dick Cepek DC-2 16x8 with 4" BS with 33x12.5x16 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ Radials. I already installed a suspension lift, and got about 3.5" of lift out of it. Had to put new leafs in because I broke mine. I am going to be throwing a 2" BL on there hopefully in the next month or two, and hoping to have the X done by years end. Well, at least with the lifting and rims/tires. I have no issue with having to do any trimming to get the tires to fit under compression. I have all the tools I need to do anything I need to do on a Freightliner lol

You are going to be trimming a fair amount with that backspacing and tire width. If you are okay with trimming the fenders then it will look very nice with a beefy stance.

That being said, the body lift will be mandatory if you plan on putting those tires on (unless you put them on the stock 16's, then you would just have to trim a fair amount as well)

Can't wait to see what the end result is going to be though!

I figured as much, with what I've read so far. I'm not sure if fender trimming will or will not be required, but if it is then no biggie. I have already considered getting the offroad fenders from 4x4parts.com that have a 4 inch bulge and look like they have a much wider fender area.

I have already decided that the 2 inch BL will be goin in. I am hoping to having that in by July or August.

Xrunner2004 did you recover all that stuff your self? my headliner is coming down and I'll need to do something with it. Just wondering how hard it was and if you used that 3M spray glue or something else?
