I recently have been having issues with misfiring, poor acceleration, and stalling. My speedometer and Tachometer are not working intermittently. The poor driving has been intermittent and when it is not happening the truck runs great. I decided to change the MAF and Throttle Position Sensor. I now have a P0102 code even thought I have a new MAF sensor, even though it is brand new. I love my Xterra but this issue may force me to get rid of it. Any ideas that can help me save my truck? Also, the shop i take it too replaced the knock sensor and it didn't fix the issue.

What he said. Its typically the bearing. Aftermarket distributors are hit or miss. There is a good write up on how to rebuild them, but I never have.

Also, the aftermarket MAF sensors can be crap right out of the box. What brand is it?

I have had shops try and tell me the knock sensor makes it run bad but I dont believe that, unless you are supercharged.

Is the check engine light flashing?
