Hello all

I purchased a pre-owned 2003 Xterra SE SC several months ago. In relatively good working condition. This past week while i was driving, the positive battery terminal broke and caused a myriad of electrical issues: blown fuses, bulbs, blower resister. I replaced and light and fuses but I still have some issues. One of which is no fusable link. I noticed there wasn't one on the positive terminal. Is there supposed to be one on this year/model? Should I add one? What are the implications (damage) because I didn't have one and the terminal broke?

Thank you.

The fuseable links are under the fuse box here.

There is some shenanigans happening at the battery, but that's not one of them.
