3-4 week wait time!!!!! (Depending on schedule)

I would never deal with any other place for bumpers. James has been everything advertised when it comes to bumpers...

Ill let him post up pricing..

If no one has one for a second gen by the time tax refunds roll around I may try to run up there and get one for the second gens. I'll probably do the same style as Daves with the single center hoop.

I like the lines of it.

Any specs on the thickness of the plate and bracing, total weight, etc?

Xterraforce had said in the other thread that the plate was 3/16.

89 lb with 3/16 steel plate facing is great...I think most of the competition is closer to 100 lb.

The bracing and so forth makes a difference too though, Like ARB uses 10 ga sheet metal for the facing, and the THICKEST steel they use is 3/16" for bracing.....and on the other end, Shrock uses 3/16" for the face, and 3/8" - 5/8" for the bracing, mounts, etc....and both the ARB and Shrock are ~ 100 lb.

Hello all,

First post. :)

Bumper is made from 3/16 with the exception of the mounts which are 1/4"

I can do any sort of custom modification to these (esp before I start having them laser cut).

Price: $575 for the basic bumper (includes light holes and clevis mounts).

Add $50 for a single hoop, $100 for full guard.

Shipping is extra and I'll try to get some sample rates together.

Any questions, comments, or suggestions feel free to post.

I try to check my PM's at various sites but email or phone is a sure fire way to get to me.

We need some one to PS a pix of the Gen one bumper on a Gen 2... That would get some butts up to KY ;)

It's great to have you here James. I LOVE my RLC bumper and have gotten more comments and looks from it than everything else I've done combined. Of course that wasn't the reason for getting it but it is a nice side effect.

This bumper looks great. Thanks for making such a nice product for the X's, James! I'm in Bloomington, IN so when it comes time to get a bumper, you'll get my business. I'll just drive down like Dave did.

Awesome looking work James! It's going to take a couple months to woo the wife into letting me purchase one, but I know exactly where I am going! It's great to have you in the Xterra community!

Thanks for becoming a site sponsor, RLC! Do you have anything in the works for a rear bumper for the 2nd gen X's?

I guess you could call this a hybrid....but this is what I'm looking for. Mostly tubed but has plates on the bottom corners for rigidity and protection.

That front bumper facia/fairing/plastic would go and this would replace it.

One thing I'm really digging is so far we've seen three RLC bumpers, and while the bumper itself is easily identifiable, all three have their own distinct look because James is willing to work with his customers to give us what we want. It's amazing how much just changing up the grill guard changes the look and "attitude" of the Xterra.

Couldn't agree more! And I am thrilled the bumper and made a little video getting it on (recently got a new camera so making up excuses to use it :D )
