Upper and Lower Ball Joints and...

Hello all, I'm getting ready to replace the upper and lower ball joints and just wanted to ask if there is anything special I need to know to effect repairs on my own. I'm looking to order a set from Amazon and came up with this set. Does this look like these are good-enough parts: BOXI 8pcs...

    A/C cutting in and out

Hey all, Just a )long-delayed) follow-up. I finally determined the problem I had regarding the A/C compressor kicking in and out: It was the resistor (under the dash) all along. Once switched out, the problem totally disappeared. So, if you have a similar issue, check that little guy out. R

Hello all, I've read many post but have not found the exact thread that addresses this particular problem: 2013 Xterra X with no moditifiactions at all; mileage: 100,002 My A/C shows fully charged but when selected cuts out intermittently for no apparent reason. I have a video I will try to...

    A/C cutting in and out

Thanks, again Muadeeb, I'm a member of that group too. I just haven't posted there for a while. I'll have to look up the manuals to better familiarize myself with the X.

    A/C cutting in and out

Thank you Muadeeb, Okay, so, here is another possible source. I have some issues with the towing/trailer light circuit and believe that is coming form the BCM (but that issue is for another post). in you last post, it looks like a part from a manual. Is that available to us members of this list?

    A/C cutting in and out

...just checked and yes, the compressor DOES kick out at higher blower speeds but works well at low speed. Of course, low speed does not give enough cold air on a hot day so I still would like to fix this. Add: The X has 96,466 miles on the odometer. By the way. I also think I have a BCM...

    A/C cutting in and out

Thank you, Prime and Muadeeb, That is something I haven't checked since purchased new in 2013. When it works, the air blows quite cold but in your posts, I am sure that a low pressure could still be a problem. I actually HAVE the set of hi/low gauges so will try to use them next weekend. By...

Hey guys, need some help identifying these items.. can’t find them in the manuals.

Whew, I'm glad that was cleared up. I've had mine covered ever since I purchased the X because I thought it was an NSA monitoring device.

    A/C cutting in and out

Had anyone had an issue where the A/C compressor cuts in and out while the blower motor functions normally? This seems to happen most when I try to run the system at a higher fan speed and never at the lowest fan speed setting.

    Hello from Maine

Hello from Maine, I own a 2013 Xterra with 95,000 miles (at this writing) and have had some minor and some major issues with it causing me to have a love/hate relationship with the SUV. Back when there was only half as many miles on it, the Xterra stranded us on the side of the road with a...

Trailer lights but no brake lights and ...

Hello all, I have a problem with no brake, turn or flashers but I DO have tail lights. I checked the wiring at the rear of the chassis and have no power to that circuit. The only fuse I find for the circuit is under the hood and it checks out fine. Any ideas on where next to search? I must...
