    Project Flexicab. SAS'd and supercharged.

I may be that "guy in Denver" and the NA computer did "work" but not really well. Ran super rich. Need to finish reading but I didn't realize yours was a swap - thought it was a factory SC for some reason. Glad to see you did it too. And new heads? Nice work.

What clutch did you go with? My trucks at 275k and rear main just started leaking - not positive but pretty sure my clutch is original too.

Did you take the transfer case out of that donor X? Seem to remember it had the low range gears in it. looks like it does well. Nice video!

The are short. The shocks on mine were topping out before the AC UCAs were hitting the bump stops. I added a sleeve on the shock - just enough to have the UCA bottom out first - lock nut still engages fully on the top shock mount. Just and idea. Kinda hard to see, but it's in there. Love...

I'm super interested in your water methanol system... I get some pinging with the supercharger swap when it's hot (yes, running highest grade pump gas available. Possibly partly because I still have the ECU from the Auto in my 5-speed?). Either way, before I run a smaller pulley and add the...

    Excuses4excursions 04 Xe 4x4 Build

Nice looking winch mount. Good idea to have one if you're adventuring alone. Plus in a group, its good to have a few winches to go around. I'm excited for you to get that 3" lift on. You'll like it. Good luck!

Thanks for all the info and for not being a know-it-all. Yes, running steel lines throughout, good quality pads, and yes, I am pushing the pedal to the floor (I've bled it, and had a shop to it to make sure it wasn't a problem on my end). The truck stops, but not like it should. Seems like the...

Just trying to get the brake system upgraded a bit to compensate for all the added weight of bumpers/sliders/topper/gear I carry.

Thank you. Yes, I've worked on brakes plenty of times, just haven't done something like this. Do you know if I could still run the ABS with this master cylinder? I'm assuming I could, but I wouldn't really care if I had to lose it. One more picture that shows the routing of each copper hose...

Hello. I think I'm going to go ahead and order these parts and do the upgrade on my 2000 Frontier. I have a couple questions if you have time. Is this write-up pretty much all you had to do? Assuming I don't have any huge problems, how long did it take you? Secondly, what are the copper...

Testing The Water For A Group Buy On Steering Kits.

Junkyards are probably going to be your best bet. I agree, the aftermarket ones are no good. FYI, I have the bandit4x4 bronze bushings in my idler arm and they are supposed to last longer than the delrin ones. Not sure if that's true, but you can always give it a try to make it more robust.

Hey man, really excited to see this thing up and running. The video didn't have sound, but once you get it going, I'd love to come over to Junction to check it out. Nice work all around. Really enjoyed reading the last batch of entries on the work you've done to this thing.

Testing The Water For A Group Buy On Steering Kits.

Nice. Who still makes a kit? I'd be interested in the case that I build another truck, or in case the grassroots link ever give me trouble.

Testing The Water For A Group Buy On Steering Kits.

Using bearing retainer, I staked the bronze bushings into the arms and ground them flat on the ends. I did this for both the pitman and idler arms. This step probably isn't necessary. I probably should have just made the thru-hole the right size for simplicity, but I wanted to try out the...

Testing The Water For A Group Buy On Steering Kits.

NOT necessarily suggesting you have to do something different, but have you read anything about the Grassroots4x4 center link upgrade? Here's my process. The one additional thing that could be done would be making an adjuster to fit 1-ton GM tie rod ends. Would require a 7-degree taper reamer...

As far as this goes, you could post/check with NORAC 4x4 and Colorado Xterra Club on facebook? https://www.facebook.com/groups/norac/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/769625289824853/

So funny. I saw this and kicked around the idea as well. By time I had decided to go ahead and pull the trigger on it and swap the diffs/t-case into my Frontier, I called the guy up, and he goes "yeah, some other guy came and got it yesterday." I was actually curious at the time if it was...

    Toyota wheels on a Nissan?

Correct, if you want to keep your Nissan lugs, you'll need the special mag lugs that fit our thread pitch. Again, I think these are the ones: https://www.brandsport.com/grla-73128t.html FYI, the hub rings don't engage very well on the rear hub. the drum brake doesn't allow much lip on the hub...

    Excuses4excursions 04 Xe 4x4 Build

Looking forward to seeing what you do to it! Go check out my build thread on the Frontier forum if you get a chance. Looks like you may be trying to do about the same mods I've done. I try to keep it pretty well updated. https://www.clubfrontier.org/threads/babe-the-blue-ox.355755/ Good luck!
