    goneMOAB 2023 announcement

Let me know if anyone is going to be in Grand Junction next weekend and wants to do some wheeling. There is a small group of GONE refugees meeting there for some trails.

    Grill clips

Also you can buy the OEM ones. I have a hand full in the glove box. https://www.courtesyparts.com/oem-parts/nissan-grille-assembly-clip-768820m060?c=bT0xJmw9MSZuPVJlY29tbWVuZGVkIFByb2R1Y3RzJms9MQ%3D%3D

2nd gen CV info needed: 1st gen long travel

1 ton ends were the initial plan but drilling a straight hole is cheaper and easier than a taper. I see Barne's has the taper bit for 85$. GM ends would be cheaper too and then the adjusters are just tube with a weld insert. Lots to think about.

2nd gen CV info needed: 1st gen long travel

We are thinking the same thing. Plan is to move the diff forward and down and steering forward to fix the tie rod (heims??) geometry. Body lift will help with the up but most will be down travel. Lower and upper arms will be full custom, I can bend the top arms how I need but the lowers are...

2nd gen CV info needed: 1st gen long travel

100% in every way the truth but not as cool. To add to that if I really cared about off road performance and what makes sense I would get rid of the Nissan and buy a Jeep. Instead I am going to let this 21 year old Nissan take all my money.

2nd gen CV info needed: 1st gen long travel

True, I could just go all titian on the front but the 350mm rotors make me nervous on the fit. Yeah the CV adapter is the least of my worries just a disc of something hard with the correct bolt holes for each CV. Just need to decide on how hard $$$. Knuckle with the unit bearing on the...

2nd gen CV info needed: 1st gen long travel

Well that changes a few things. Also means I have a lot of brake options for rotor size.

2nd gen CV info needed: 1st gen long travel

My buddy who is more into this than I am is already eyeballing my rusting f150 in the yard. Has the TTB setup and he wants it. Are you saying the titan's are different wheel pattern than the Xterra?

2nd gen CV info needed: 1st gen long travel

@Prime as always you are the best. I know the spline count is different if I went this path I would make a custom knuckle to mount the second gen uni bearing onto as the machine work and precision can be a lot less than the 1st gen shafts since the knuckle carries the bearings. I was hoping...

2nd gen CV info needed: 1st gen long travel

Okay I did some rock auto research and looks like the stock shafts are not flange mounted. I am now looking at the titan CV's or the pathfinder CV's depending on length. I can't seem to find the length of these CV's anywhere. I am debating between a custom knuckle build or using the factory...

2nd gen CV info needed: 1st gen long travel

Starting the idea phase of a long travel setup on the 1st gen Xterra. I was wondering if someone can get me some info on the CV axles on the second gens. I know your trucks are wider but I need to just know the CV lengths. If anyone has a busted stock shaft for a titan or stock 2nd gen and would...

    Finally Building It

I only had a few clips of your truck, to far in the back of the pack to get anything good. I do have a few videos of you jumping out of the way while spotting some throttle happy drivers.

    Finally Building It

Back from GONE Moab, great event this year and I saw some first gens! Thanks @Prime and everyone else for an awesome event. I look forward to next year. I stepped down the trails this year to be nicer to the X but still found some harder lines. Xterra did great still need to work out fuel...

    02 Nissan Xterra no crank

You will need some back probes to help test with a multimeter. I think the owners manual will have the layout of the relay box if not you can get the FSM from nicoclub with all the layout. I am not near my truck so I can't get pictures till early May.

    02 Nissan Xterra no crank

Not being a jerk but I am going to guess you don't know how relays work so I am going to give a brief overview. Taking the interlock relay the way the circuit is built you should have power on both pin 2 and 1 with the ignition on or during a start condition. However that voltage is floating...

    02 Nissan Xterra no crank

If you want you can start your own thread however this circuit is simple. Here is a diagram. What pin on the relay do you have 12v on? You should have power on the trigger side of the relay in the start/on position. You should also have power on the switch side during start. Ground is only...

    Ok yall....

I have had these on my truck for the past decade with no issues. You may need to re index the torsion bars to level out the truck but this is the cheapest way to add a little lift. https://www.4x4parts.com/i-18981298-xterra-rear-lift-shackles.html
